Innis Residence Council
The Innis Residence Council (IRC) is a student-run governing council for the students who live at Innis Residence throughout the academic year. The IRC is composed of 5 executive members who are elected by the residents, 6 Senior House Representatives, 6 Junior House Representatives, and 5 committee chairs. All residents are welcome to attend the bi-weekly IRC meetings.
The mission of the IRC is to provide support and encourage unity among residents by organizing residence-wide events, such as: monthly House Olympics; social outings; and trips around Innis and Toronto. The IRC gives students the chance to get involved in the Innis community and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills by providing moral and monetary support for clubs, suite events, and committees.
To find out more about the IRC, you can check out our constitution here.

Innis Student Life
Interested in whats going on around the Residence and U of T?
The Office of Student Life at Innis College is focused on enriching the non-academic life of our students. Whether running seminars and workshops on any number of topics, providing resources to student groups and clubs operating at Innis, or providing one-on-one help for students with personal issues, Student Life at Innis is always working to improve the overall student experience for you.
If you are an Innis student group, we’re here to help you find resources on campus, book space, or connect with other groups. If you are an ICSS-recognized club or an IRC sub-group, you should contact them first to see what assistance is available to you through those Student Societies, but we’re here, too!
Do you need help? Swing by the Innis Office of Student Life anytime—Innis College’s Senior Dons staff the Student Life Office after regular business hours during the week—and we’ll see what we can do! (If your problem is academic or financial in nature, you should contact the Innis College Registrar’s Office.)
